We spent 8 hours in HTB to go through each and every entertainment, except the Japanese Ghost House which I really did not want it. The amusement park is rather high tech an advanced, lots of technology fun thing, the 3D and 5D theater. Brand new entertainment experience here, incredibly clean and hygiene at every corner, as you know this is Japan.

An important bonus, there is not much Chinaman tourists here who like to shout aloud here and there everything seems like a big huha. As a whole I enjoyed the trip although it was very tiring. You can make a research on the Huis Ten Bosch website and make a brief plan before heading there. Better make sure you have enough time for it. Of course, do check on the forecast too!

In Fukuoka

It has been some time since I traveled to Japan but I am extremely lazy in updating due to over the whelming laziness from head to toe. I always wanted to blog about my daily life in Korea, somehow I am stucked here and my blog gradually becoming a travel blog. What a shame. I promise this is the second last travel post. :/ There are something I wish to share about my trip, still they can be useful reference if you are heading there. Here ya go.

Fukuoka is like 40minutes flying from Gimhae airport.

The Japanese god whom is believed to protect Fukuoka.

Catch a free shuttle from international terminal to the domestic terminal

From there you can easily get in subway to your destination. Fare to Tenjin or Hakata is 100yen.

JR Hakata City, JR stands for Japan Railway. This is a huge and complex train stations where you catch bullet trains and subway. You can jump in a train to travel throughout Japan from north to south.

As you can see on the poster, it is displayed on the building at night.

Hot chicks for Karaoke session, and "special service" you know what I am saying don't you.

Heading to yatai, a streets of stalls by the river selling local foods.

I had this pork noodles again, it is pork bone soup with thicken flavor.

Anti-social is not tolerated in the yatai, the hawker is extremely friendly and a chatterbox.

3D Projection - The Revival of The Dragon

This is not just awesome, 100% my cup of tea and I love it so much! I love the 3D projection show is sooo much better compared to those theme parks fireworks I have been to. I watched the 5D theater in Huis Ten Bosch theme park as well, it was a different experience. But this one is so good, the graphic is fantastic, the atmosphere is stunning cool, the show is 7 minutes length (I fast forwarded the video in youtube version). I substituted a song as the video background as the recording background has lots of noise. However I was surprised when hearing a Korean song in the middle of the show (the part which the girls dancing in front of the window, it actually played Roly Poly(롤리폴리) by T-ARA(티아라)).

If you are going to Nagasaki, please, make a trip to Huis Ten Bosch. It is now on my personal Must-Not-Miss-It list. I would easily rate this 2 times higher than the fireworks in Hongkong Disneyland, no joking. I am sharing my video here I hope you feel my cheer too. It was a great Saturday and I had so much fun. There is no point to get chilled in -5'C everyday and finally I went out to get a life in the winter. Hwamyeong Park is located at Buk-gu in northen Busan. It is a good place for kids and family outings. I was very happy and played like a kid. I went through the snow tube for more than 10 times, ming said I am so childish.

Line 2 Sujeong Station, exit 3, (get a taxi by telling Hwamyeong Toboggan) or walk towards a park go through tunnel till you can see a construction area. Hwamyeong Park is like 10 minutes walking distance away. Entrance fee is krwn4,000. Open from 10am to 5:3pm, 6Jan12 till 19Feb12.

Hakata Miyako Hotel is located at the exit no.5 at Hakata Station. Good room, clean and spacious. If you are travelling to Fukuoka you can get a good deal at agoda.com. The second hotel I stayed in is Hotel Plaza Premier located at Tenjin area. Firstly I booked a low cost guesthouse at Tenjin area, but when I reached there I discover the guesthouse was in horrible condition.

Do not be surprised to see me buying black head removal sticker.

You can't buy it in Korea, I wonder why. :S Korean has no black head??

Canal City, Hakata

Canal City is a big shopping mall in Hakata, around 10 minutes walking distance from Hakata Station. Canal City is attached to Hyatt Hotel. Taking a local bus will be 100yen. I used my god damn poor Japanese to communicate with a local people, he was very friendly in checking the correct bus number for me. Shopping lots close at 9pm while restaurants close at 11pm.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

Finally I am going to blog about my Japan trip. It is winter end closes to spring so it is good time to see ume flower in Dazaifu, the best season is early February. Everything in Japan is expensive, twice higher than Korea or should I say 4 times higher than Malaysia. A simple meal in Japan is 1000yen, equivalent to RM40+, which serves you a normal white rice with fried pork. Ming and I had great time in this trip traveling around Fukuoka. I will blog more later on.

This post is to share a nice place for superstitious people, you can't miss out this tourist spot. Of course, shrine is the best place for you to discover Japanese culture, appreciate Japanese history and architecture more than a thousand year. Among the hundreds of Tenmangu Shrines throughout Japan, Dazaifu is is the most important one alongside Kyoto's Kitano Tenmangu. Tenmangu Shrines are dedicated to the spirit of Sugawara Michizane, a scholar and politician of the Heian Period. Because of his great learning, Michizane has been associated with Tenjin, a Shinto deity of education, and is popular among students. [extracted from www.Japan-guide.com]

Pyongchang

Pyongchang is awarded the candidate city of 2018 Olympic after winning the majority votes at a International Olympic Committee session in Durban, South Africa. We took 5 hours bus from Busan to this place, almost cracked my old back bones. I put on 2 sets thermal wear to make sure I get maximum fun in this chilling place. The main idea here we gonna do here is to fish "on" the river, which top layer freezes into ice. People do skiing and ice sliding too. Tons of people walked on the river and had fun running here and there, digging holes here and there, I was terrified that the river will crack down.

I am sitting on the river. The depth is around 1meter I guess.

CNY mood in Hongkong

I'm in Hongkong again. I am here this time to hunt for CNY goods. The last time I was here was before Christmas. Time flies, people are preparing for CNY this time and having grand sale everywhere. The weather is very cold, 9'C. Summer in Sydney is over 30'C, coming to Hongkong is a considered a good "warm up" before heading Korea. Luckily I got a thick winter jacket from my sis.

I went to WanChai to buy tons of Hongkong cookies for my boyfie.

建立一个家真的不容易，米盐糖油酱油锅碗瓢盆，买菜买肉买面买调味，晒衣架洗衣剂洗碗剂刷子，搬两大箱东西回家才想到马桶盖忘了买！一个小小的套房有自己的浴室厨房洗衣间，房子小小也可说麻雀虽小五脏俱全。男人有自己的独立工作空间，我们可以自己在家煮，要吃什么都可以，便宜丰盛健康又省时。老娘的厨艺虽然不是很到家，但是抓住男人的胃口应该还行！这我要感谢我姐因为是她让我厨艺开窍。希望我可以继续尝试不同的菜色，然后慢慢把男人养成一只肥猪。

My Last Dinner in Sydney

We had dragon at a Japanese Restaurant, my sis and I got drunk (as usual). We are dumb ass because we could not finish eating two plates of the food we ordered, also we could not even finish a bottle of wine. Nothing else I can say because we are just noob. After filling up our stomach with 120% fullness, Ed brought us to Max Brenner for awesomely good desert. I had my hot chocolate, my arrogant sister had her hot chocolate (extra hot), and we also had chocolate fondue. Max Brenner serves awesomely good chocolate, as I said we were 120% full after the meal, I still couldn't let go the delicious chocolate desert. At the end, I was 200% full. I felt full until the next day I went up to flight. Haha.

This is my sis, she has Jew face, and so jew. I wrote 소주(soju) in Hangul.

Awesomely good hot chocolate. I reckon it is the best hot chocolate, completely surprised me.

Summer is the season lavender, it rains quite a lot in Sydney during this summer so the lavender farm is no longer as nice as before. My sis said the lavender farm in Launceston is 100times bigger and nicer than Wyong one. Launceston Lavender Field is 5hours driving from Hobart so we did not go there when we flew to Hobart last month. Anyway, we surprisingly discovered good macademia nut cafe and we had great time playing water in the river nearby, and bought cheap mangoes home. ^.^

Mushroom soup, glazy donut, pizza, 扣肉米粉 -- How to DIY

Mushroom soup

1. Fried 1 spoon of plain flour with 15g butter. (A)

2. Fried sliced mushroom with 15g butter. (B)

3. Add in (A) into (B).

4. Add in half cup of milk and half cup of warm water.

5. Stir till soup is thicken and add in salt as for personal preference

(Can add in cream cheese to make the soup much creamy.)

Glazy Donut

1. Add in 1 teaspoon of yeast and 1 spoon of sugar into 125ml warm water. (A)

2. Add (A) into 2 cups of plain flour + 1 teaspoon of salt + 1 egg.

3. Mix gently. Leave for an hour.

4. Divide the flour into 5 portion and make a circle shape.

5. Ready to fry in hot oil, until it shows brownish skin.
6. Apply a layer of icing sugar on donut. Ready to serve.

Vegetarian Pizza

1. Add 1 teaspoon of yeast into 125ml warm water. (A)

2. Add (A) into 1 cup of plain flour, add in 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 spoon of oil.

3. Leave the dough for an hour then can shape it into a pizza base.

4. Apply a layer of butter/oil on dough.

5. Apply tomato paste, pamersan cheese, sliced onion, sliced mushroom.

(Optional to add in your favourite ingredient. Can use mozzarella cheese instead.)

6. Preheat oven at 180'C, bake pizza for 25min.

扣肉米粉

1. 爆香蒜米。

2 .加入罐头扣肉（扣肉预先微波2分钟）。

3.加入烫过热水的米粉。

4.加入调味料翻炒（黑酱油，生抽，盐，少许辣椒油）。

5.加入青菜翻炒就行。

Service is superior, yea, seafood was good, yea, boscaiola was awful, yea, and finally the bill is more than horrible. The place is 40min driving from Ashfield, we did something typically 送养入虎口.

Wonderful Christmas outing with my sis.（当大人不在家的时候）Did crazy thing, went drinky drinky, taking photos pretending we were conscious in fact we were not. We went for a great sushi buffet which serves fresh and good Japanese food.

Ingredient:

1) plain flour 150g

2) egg 1

3) yeast 3g

4) salt 1/2 tea spoon

5) oil 20g

6) egg yolk (optional)

7) milk (20ml)

Steps:

1) yeast+2spoon warm water-->leave 10min

2) flour+egg+salt+oil -->mix together

3) add in yeast water, stir well

4) leave the dough for 90min

5) divide the dough into 4 portions, long shape

6) wrap sausage with dough (roll up), leave the dough for 60min

Bake:

1) preheat 5min 155'c

2) bake 25min at 155'c

3) apply layer of egg yolk

4) bake for another 5min

Mustard simply clicks on German sausage.

Some other bakery I done these days.

I named this the Tangled. :) Love it.

I also made kaya (coconut jam).

I'm learning to cook and bake more these days at home when I have time.

Although I am not good in it, I am always ready to learn more.

The Major Oak is Sydney's No.1 Theatre Restaurant and Comedy Restaurant. This is definitely the place for my sis and I. We enjoyed the great shows, great live band, amusive performers, incredibly good voices and great songs. We were served with excellent food entry the pepper fried calamari, we love the free flow of wine too. Haha! Two thumbs up and no regret for visiting.

材料：

面粉 2 杯

温水 1 杯

植物油 2 匙

白糖 2 匙

苏打粉 2 小酌

发酵粉 1 小酌

盐 1 小酌

用保鲜膜把面团封起，让面团休息至少3小时以作发酵。

（如果是晚上做面团，亦可让面团放置到隔天早上。）

把面条叠在一起，均衡拉长，然后下锅。

（两片面条中间涂点水让面团不易脱落。）

炸至金黄色即可上锅。（油温要高热）

大功告成！

外皮香脆，面团发得很好。

制作包点可直接使用剩下的面团

面团做成圆形摊开，涂上一层牛油，裹上扣肉。

（记：罐头扣肉先用微波炉弄热一分钟）

把包子底部贴上烹饪用的油纸，放入蒸笼。

锅盖盖上，等待15分钟。

美味的包子完成了，内陷可依个人喜好做点小创意。

Christmas mood creeps in. People are busy carrying Christmas trees from Woolworth, all shops start displaying decoration stuffs, Christmas hampers, all types of attractive hand gifts. Flier is everywhere and party is up right after another. Christmas is a big celebration in Aussie as we all understood that angmo are mostly Christian. Even if you are not religious person, just take Christmas as a good break, pause your step and feel the joy.

Salamanca Market, Wrest Point Hobart

Salamanca Market is a Saturday morning market 8am till 3pm. There are around 300 stalls. We love coming here, as a custom we will surely go for German Sausage. It was A$3.50 and now A$5! Typical tourist price! Carrying food around loitering stalls we like, get some local Tassie souvenirs, enjoy to variety music life shows. Salamanca Market is a good place which makes you realizing that you deserve a wonderful Saturday.

My sis wanted me to take her food so that people think I eat a lot. And I am fat.

简单烘培凤梨酥 Pineapple Pie DIY

Ingredient 材料

Dough 外皮

butter 牛油130g

sugar 糖/糖粉15g

egg 蛋

flour 面粉165g

Pineapple 凤梨内陷

pineapple 新鲜凤梨 80g

sugar 糖 20g

butter 牛油 30g

Ratio 外皮和内陷比例

1:1

Steps: Dough
1. Beat butter and sugar together until they are gently mixed.
奶油加糖打拌
2. Add egg yolk to beat, then add egg white to beat. (Make sure they are fully beaten into butter)
加入蛋黄打匀，再加入蛋白打匀
3. Add sieved flour and gently mix.
慢慢加入过筛面粉
4. Leave the dough for 20 minutes.
让面团休息20分钟 (因为面团已经很累了)

Steps: Pineapple
1. Cut pineapple into little cubes.
把凤梨切成小方块
2. Melt 20g butter in frying pan.
溶化20克奶油
3. Fry pineapple until butter is fully absorbed.
翻炒凤梨直到凤梨均匀吸收奶油
4. Add 250ml boiled water and 20g sugar to cook pineapple until they are soft.
加入250毫升热水和20克白糖，滚至凤梨变软

Wrap and Bake
1. Use the ratio 1:1 dough and pineapple, wrap up pineapple.
用1比1的面团和凤梨陷，面团把凤梨包好
2. Preheat oven for 10min at 150'C, bake for 20min.
以中温150度C预热烤箱10分钟，把凤梨面团烤至20分钟
3. Apply a layer of egg yolk on top of pineapple cookies, continue to bake for another 5min.
取出凤梨酥涂上一层蛋黄，再烤5分钟就打工告成

烘培可以是一门大学问也可以很轻松，只要有心一定会烤出好吃的凤梨酥。自己做的凤梨酥没有添加防腐剂，没有人工色素和味精，料好实在又健康，材料方面也非常简单。赶快动手做吧！

This is completely an awesome place for wine and dinner. Cathy had her wedding dinner here. Meadowbank Estate is located 10min from Richmond. It is a great place which I can't describe with words. My sis said that Aussie wedding is to get everyone drunk. Before the wedding dinner begins, we were served with free flow of good wine, mini seafood tarts and fresh oyster. Cathy has a simple but perfect wedding, total of 10 tables, good environment, good food, with hired band to keep us dancing till we drop.

We were served with good wine which Cathy's parents kept since she was born. A 27yrs old wine?

Autumn is the most beautiful season in Korea. (I say one.)

Korea has significant seasons, it blossoms in spring, you put on your bikini in the summer, lazy windy dizzy in fall and it snows in winter. I think I am a dull person, not as colorful as comparing to spring, neither as demonstrative as summer, so autumn is definitely my season.

A school band having mini concert. It is an interactive concert which the singer will occasionally pass the mic to you to sing middle of the song. If he pass to me then gg. ("Paiseh! Hanguk mal muteyo ok!")

These are a few tourist spots which you can drop off one shot, they are pretty close to one another, pretty close provided that you need to walk "for some distance". Line 1 is the orange line.

Jagalchi (seafood market) you can come here for good seafood hunting.

It is the largest fish market in Korea. The market is located beside Nampo Port which means the fish can be delivered quickly and kept fresh.

Christmas mood in Hongkong

Here I am again, Hongkong, nothing special. Not the place for a girl like me who does not shop. Landing at international airport, go to the right exit once you get out from arrival point, take bus S1. Around 15min you will drop off here. This is Citygate Outlets which selling all branded and not so branded stuff at good price. The bus fare is HKD3.50, prepare the change or the bus driver will swear at you.

My freaking good in flight meal by Cathay Pacific. And I finally smurf-ed! And flew to Sydney.

To be honest and not haolian, Hongkong is not a place for me. I personally don't like Hongkees too, they don't present hospitality towards tourists, also I had unpleasant experiences dealing with Hongkees clients. I don't care if you say me racist. I was here last year October, Chinaman was all over. When I am here again this year, Chinaman is still all over, plus Vietnamese and all kind of weird people. Brutal Chinaman trampled Hongkong land, Chinaman flooded, they talk so loud they spit everywhere and they make Hongkong shitty. Damn you la. Smurf you!

Ingredients: (for 10 persons servings)

125g butter

110g white sugar (subject to change if you prefer sweeter)

1/2 egg

185g plain flour (sieved)

self raising flour 2 spoons

0.8g salt

6ml vanilla extract

1) Butter + sugar + salt (melt in microwave for 1min)

2) Add everything together and keep stirring

3) Preheat the oven at 200'C when you start to make the dough

4) Shape the dough and ready bake for 8-10min

Here you go!

We made the dough thin so that easily get baked.

Bake for 8-10min untilyou see the top layer turns yellowish/crispy.

Ready to pack in cute Christmas cookies box.

I am in Hobart

My sis and I flew from Sydney to Hobart this morning to attend Cathy's hens night. The first time I came here was like years ago, I stayed for almost 2 month. This is my second visit to Tasmania, I really love it here. Such a peaceful place and wonderful environment.

Our old friend Dane picked us up from the airport. He has always been really kind hearted!

Just learned my Korean name today, surprised to know that I share the same name with this girl from a KPOP group Secret. Huahahaha! This is so lucky not to have weird or lousy/lame Korean name.

This is a direct translation from my Chinese name to Korean name.
효성hyo-sung/ hyo-seng
Korean: 제 이름은 효성 입니다.
Pronunciation: je ireum eun hyosung imnida.
Translation: My name is hyosung.

By the way hyusung is this blonde girl. My friend said she is well known for her fat tights.

Travel from Seoul to Busan via free shuttle bus

I travelled to Busan from Seoul via KTX fast train last time (around 45,000krwn). This trip I have much time to spend around so I booked a free shuttle bus. (website) As long as you are holding a foreign passport, just make a reservation on the website 10 days before departure, you will be lucky like me to get a free return shuttle bus ticket. Btw I only took the one way ticket as I will not return to Seoul by December 2011. Unfortunately, this free shuttle bus will close down by year 2012.

Great experience visiting to the 3rd lantern festival organized in Seoul. It was very grand, free of charge too. The lantern theme this year is based on Korea culture, wedding, kids games, legends and Korea occasions. The festival is located at Junggu, Gwansugyo bridge. I went there on Tuesday yet so crowded.

说了再见，就是再见！今年已经是第三次到首尔，但是这次当空服员报告说飞机即将降落，心情特别感动。领了行李箱，男人已经在门口慌张地东张西望，看他消瘦了点，还赶紧给我送上情人节礼物（11月11日是韩国情人节）。再乘搭最后一趟1小时的机场巴士去到名宿。6小时20分的飞行很累，但是一切都是值得的，它换来2个人的开心。男人比我更辛苦，千里迢迢从釜山过来这里找我，走山路搭巴士乘地铁再坐快铁再搭机场地铁来到机场，路途明显比我还要辛苦坎坷。

老娘今天睡到自然醒，现在要出门去了。无业游民风骚又幸福的日子，又开始了。我要感谢生命的可贵，感谢全世界的人。
